POST TITLE: EYSP Adviser - Group Settings

BASIS: Up to 14 days per term @ £500 per day

RESPONSIBLE TO: Programme Lead

Generate Early Years Stronger Practice Hub is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Stronger Practice Adviser to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Early Years settings across the region, helping practitioners and leaders improve outcomes for children through evidence-informed practice, coaching and professional development.

About the Role

As an Early Years Stronger Practice Adviser, you will:

• Coach and support Early Years leaders to identify and implement improvements in the quality of education.
• Promote and share evidence-informed practice across the sector.
• Deliver professional development opportunities and support setting improvement.
• Model highly effective Early Years practice.
• Work collaboratively with settings to strengthen provision and improve outcomes for young children.
  Contribute to the wider work of the Stronger Practice Hub across the region.

Essential Experience and Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of three years' experience working in Early Years.
• Be currently working in an Early Years setting graded Good or Outstanding by Ofsted (or meeting the equivalent standard under the current framework), or currently be employed within an Early Years role in a Local Authority.
• Have experience working with children aged 0–4 years.
• Demonstrate leadership experience within an Early Years environment.
• Have experience of supporting practice beyond their own setting, such as delivering training, mentoring colleagues, supporting inspections, or sharing best practice across multiple settings.
• Have experience coaching, mentoring or supporting the professional development of practitioners, apprentices or volunteers.
• Possess a strong and up-to-date understanding of:
  • The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Child development and developmental milestones
  • Safeguarding requirements
  • Observation, assessment and planning
  • The impact of early experiences on children's long-term outcomes

Regional Coverage

The successful candidate will support settings across:

• Halton
• Warrington
• Cheshire East
• Cheshire West and Chester

Travel across the region will be required.
