Generate Teaching Hub’s vision is to empower great teachers in Halton, Warrington and Wigan. One of the core ways we does this through organising, promoting and identifying evidence based programmes resourced by the Department for Education, so schools access the latest training and development.

In this page we have listed a wide range of resources, research and sources that teachers can independently access for more information. Listings with an asterix [*] are Department for Education approved programmes.

Schools can access curriculum based resources from:

Early Career Teacher

Schools undertaking not to access the Full Induction Programme for new teachers can register with the DfE to receive free materials from all approved providers via this portal.

Local CPD providers

There are a number of local CPD providers in our Hub area (this list will continually be updated):

Please note, although these professional bodies and unions may provide services / information at no cost they each have their own fee structure that may apply before someone access all their resources and support.
