ECT Plus Programme
Generate Teaching Hub has developed, with local partners, a peer learning programme targeted at teachers who have completed the Early Career Framework and are in year 3 and 4 since gaining QTS. Led by local leaders the cohorts will receive a light touch but in-depth programme of support over 3 terms.
This is the final chance to sign up for this subsidised programme starting on 17th January.
A second cohort is being finalized to start later in the academic year. Contact hub@wpat.uk to receive details when confirmed.
EYFS Blog
Our EYFS lead, Amanda Quirk, has been sharing a blog for early years teams and the latest offering on communication can be found here.
Amanda is also a member of the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for Liverpool City Region and Beyond. Early years staff can sign up to their newsletter to read case studies on local good practice from Amanda and the rest of the hub team.
Parental Leave Support Events
The charity MTPT Project provides, through a partnership with Generate Teaching Hub, fully funded support for teachers on paternity leave in Halton, Warrington and Wigan.
MTPT Project’s next workshop is online on 30th January and the next Parental leave coaching group starts on 8th February.
SEND in the Curriculum
John Tomsett is an advocate of the use of evidence in school improvement. On 6th February, John will join deliver a virtual session on SEND in the Curriculum. This session can be accessed for just £50.
