The new statutory programme of mentoring and training to newly qualified teachers started in September 2021 called the Early Career Framework (or ECF for short).
Working with Teach First, Generate Teaching Hub is offering the free, 2-year Full Induction Programme to all schools in our Hub area AND access to an additional mentoring grant.
A brochure explaining the ECF offer from Generate Teaching Hub provides more in-depth details for schools.
Applications for schools to start in September has been strong and we have multi cohorts of Early Career Teachers (known as ECTs) and also of experienced teachers as Mentors based around the location and school phases colleagues work in. Local, experienced teachers provide the facilitation to a nationally agreed standard.
We have over 50 experienced local school leaders trained to deliver the programme and by aligning all ECTs and Mentors into planned, local cohorts we are building knowledge of the development needs of our schools to inform future services.
New teachers starting midyear must contact hub@wpat.uk to request access details and their Induction Tutor must separately register details with the Department for Education’s own portal.
Contact hub@wpat.uk or call 01925 202255 to find out more.
