English Accelerator Funding in Halton & Wigan

Halton and Wigan schools can access upto £6k in grants for developing Phonics.

Childer Thornton English Hub has been made aware that schools based in the Halton or Wigan local authority areas, who also have a Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) rate of 25% or above, can apply for a grant to buy training, resources and decodable books for any DfE accredited systematic synthetic phonics programme.

Grants can be for up to £6,000.

Funding is limited and being allocated on a first-apply basis.
