Register for the English Hub Showcase Event 26/01/23

On behalf of St John Vianney English Hub, we are delighted to be able offer you a chance to sign up to their upcoming face-to-face Showcase event on Thursday 26th January 2023.

The event will be held at St John Vianney Primary School, Glastonbury Avenue, Blackpool, FY1 6RD from 8.30am until 1.00pm approximately (lunch will be provided).

The event will include:

• An introductory talk explaining key leadership decisions that have enabled reading to be a success in our school.
• A learning walk to showcase excellent phonics practice, with exemplification on what can be achieved through participation in an SSP programme.
• Details on the DfE validated Systematic Synthetic Phonics programmes.
• An opportunity to reflect on your school’s own practice.
• Information about Hub support, and requirements for entry into intensive support, including how to access this after the event

The Showcase event must have a Headteacher in attendance and they would recommend a Phonics/Reading leader too.
