St. John Vianney School English Showcase 29th April 2024
St John Vianney English Hub are delighted to be presenting a face-to-face showcase event on Monday 29th April 2024.
Tickets are FREE to eligible schools.
At this event you will see best practice phonics in action and find out what support could be available to your school.
The Showcase will take place at: St John Vianney Pope John Paul Parish Centre (next to school), Glastonbury Ave, Blackpool, FY1 6RD from 8.30am – 1.30pm (approx).
The event will involve:
- An introductory talk explaining key leadership decisions that have enabled reading to be a success in the school.
- A learning walk to showcase excellent phonics practice, with exemplification on what can be achieved through participation in an SSP programme.
- The offer of a FREE audit.
- An opportunity to reflect on your school’s own practice.
- Information about Hub support, and requirements for entry into intensive support, including ow to access this after the event—including how to access possible funding
The English Hub recommends that the Headteacher and the Phonics / Reading Lead attends the event.
