Flexible Working Strategies in School

On 6th April 2024 the law on the right to request flexible working changed. The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development have outlined the details here.

To support school leaders the DfE have produced a toolkit.

The resources are intended to provide school leaders with:

Increased understanding and awareness of flexible working in schools, including its benefits.
How to develop and implement a flexible working policy and its practice.
Manage requests for flexible working.

In addition the ACAS service has resources and templates for employees and employers to view.
