The deadline is Close for Leadership NPQs
We are on the final countdown to the deadline for the NPQ Spring 2024 cohort.
This cohort is the final one with confirmed scholarships available. making it fully funded for programme members in state-funded schools.
Generate are pleased to offer a suite of 4 Leadership level NPQs, with applications closing on the 28th January.
For leaders qualified to at least level 3 with a full and relevant qualification who are, or are aspiring to be: childminders with leadership responsibilities; managers of private, voluntary and independent nurseries; headteachers of school-based or maintained nurseries.
For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities.
For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.
For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, an executive headteacher or have a school trust CEO role with responsibility for leading several schools.
We work in partnership with our Local Area Leads to coordinate training cohorts across Halton, Warrington and Wigan.
We are a licenced NPQ delivery partner for both Best Practice Network and Teach First.
Small Schools Grant
Additional grants are also available to schools with smaller pupil numbers. This means a school receives income to contribute to the cost of releasing staff AND a fully funded place.
Grants for participation in NPQs are:
- State-funded primary schools with between 1 – 150 pupils will receive a grant payment of £800.
- State-funded primary schools with more than 150 pupils will receive a grant payment of £200.
- State-funded secondary schools and state funded 16-19 educational settings with between 1- 600 pupils will receive a grant payment of £200.
Eligibility is checked at registration and the grants received via the normal payments from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) during the summer term in 2024.
