Applications for the ISEND programme extended to 13th January 2025!

In 2023 the National Association for Special Educational Needs (nasen) launched the new ‘Universal SEND Services’ programme. Funded by the Department for Education and running from now until 2025, this important work includes various elements such as online modules, support from your regional SEND Leader, and this Action Research project.

The Lesson Study project is delivered by the ISEND team at the University of Derby as part of the Universal SEND Services programme. It supports practitioners from schools, colleges and FE settings to develop their own inclusion-focused research projects.
Step-by-step guidance is provided through 6 online twilight sessions. Participants are then supported in publishing and disseminating their completed work. Participants are usually involved over one or two terms.
