New Science Guidance from the EEF

Science Guidance Report

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has published a guidance report providing six practical recommendations to teaching science.

Underpinned by high quality evidence the guidance explains how to make meaningful improvements to primary science teaching.

The EEF have designed the guidance to help practitioners build on their existing expertise with a view to supporting them to close the attainment gap and cultivate positive pupil attitudes towards science.

Diving into the Guidance

The Research Schools Network has published a blog post from colleagues unpacking the new science guidance.

James Siddle and Karen Robinson of Lincolnshire Research School and Roisin Knight from Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy explore the new EEF guidance report on primary science.

Teachers View

The Research Schools Network has shared a short blog from Nadia Moustapha in Billesley Research School. They consider the benefits of making relevant, real-world links in primary science teaching.
