The North West Learning Partnership strategic partners of Carnegie Centre of Excellence in School Mental Health would like to invite SLT members and pastoral leads the chance to attend their Mental Health and Wellbeing autumn term network on Thursday 9th December 2021 10 am-12 noon at the Mercure St Helens Hotel, Linkway West, St Helens, WA10 1NG

The guest speaker is Andy Reid MBE.

In October 2009, Corporal Andy Reid MBE was blown up by a Taliban improvised explosive device while on patrol in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Injured so badly that it was thought he would not survive, he defied the odds to the extent that, within a month, he was able to meet up with members of his patrol again. What he has achieved since then is a little short of unbelievable.

Andy will lead reflections and discussion on Developing Resilience, Effective Role Models, Goal setting – making them achievable, Critical Decision and Making, Self-Recognition with a focus on ‘encouraging males to speak out!

Cost: Free of charge to all schools Includes delivery and course materials.
