Ofsted Big Listen

Ofsted has opened a consultation to seek views about their work with schools, children’s social care, teacher training and early years.

The consultation will review 4 areas of work:

1. Reporting – how Ofsted report on their education and regulatory inspections.
2. Inspection practice – the shape of Ofsted’s education and regulatory inspections, their ways of working and the craft of inspecting.
3. Culture and purpose – the conduct of inspections and the way Ofsted work.
4. Impact – the consequences of inspections for children, professionals, institutions and parents’ choices.
