Senior Mental Health Leader Grant
The Department for Education (DfE) has announced that schools can access a £1,200 grant for Senior Leader Mental Health (SMHL) training for the academic year 2021/22. The closing date is 25 October 2021.
Grants will cover, or contribute towards, the cost of DfE quality assured training for a senior member of school or college staff. All state-funded education settings are eligible for the grant.
The training will develop the knowledge and skills to implement an effective whole school or college approach to mental health and wellbeing in their setting.
Senior Mental Health Leader training is relevant to all education settings, and courses are available to meet the learning needs and preferences of senior leads regardless of their level of experience, type of setting or location.
