Qualify as a Teacher with a PGCE
Generate Teaching Hub is a high quality, well respected provider of School-Based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programmes. Registered through our lead school, Evelyn Street Primary School in Warrington, which is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and one of the top performing primary schools in England.
We provide a placement-led, full-time, non-salaried programme known as School-Based Teacher Training with partner schools in the surrounding area and are accredited by Liverpool Hope University (LHU).
On this route you will be able to complete in the same year a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and gain Qualified Teacher Status (known as QTS).
The year-long programme involves:
- 3 placements in school
- 4 weeks of intensive training and practice deep-diving into topics like Phonics
- A further 16 days of curriculum training led by school leaders who are experts in their subject
- 10 days of initial professional development (IPD)
- With 6 synchronous academic days and 6 asynchronous days in university
- A dedicated team of mentor support, and,
- The completion of two university assignments.
After successful completion of the course, Trainee Teachers leave with Qualified Teacher Status. From this year they can apply for positions in a school and move on to their 2-year induction as an Early Career Teacher.
