Final Reminder: Register your January 2025 ECTs and Mentors

Just as a final reminder, please ensure that you register all of your ECTs and Mentors using the two steps below!

• All ECTs and Mentors need to be registered on the DfE portal to formally register their training and gain access to the online learning platform.

• All ECTs need to have their Induction registered with an Appropriate Body.

ECTs and mentors registering with Generate Teaching Hub and Teach First as their training provider will need to attend a full day Welcome Conference. The dates for these are below.

Appropriate Body Service Updates

Thank you to all Induction Tutors who completed the Autumn term’s Progress Reviews and Assessments before Christmas. It was great to see so many examples of good practice highlighted which were discussed and celebrated at the AB Board, this January.

On Monday 3rd March we will be hosting an Induction Tutor support drop in session. This will be an optional session to discuss any issues with ECT Manager systems, concerns with ECTs or any other advice or guidance required in your role as Induction Tutor. Full details of the session can be found below.

We communicate to schools registered for the Appropriate Body via our ECT Manager system. Messages regularly go to Induction Tutors, Headteachers and ECTs so if you haven’t received one recently please check your spam/junk folder.
