Government launches new national youth strategy to help young people

4 Apr 25

The Government is creating a new ten-year National Youth Strategy to tackle the challenges for this generation of young people and ensure that every young person can thrive, and have access to the necessary support services, facilities and opportunities they need outside the school gates. As part of this, the DfE are holding a consultation which will close on 16th April.

It is keen to gain the views of young people aged 10-21 (aged 25 with SEND) to shape this strategy.  It is worth noting that to complete it you need to be a young person or an adult who has a young person with them.
