ITT Offer and Local Choice

Although we are extremely proud of the ITT provision that we offer at Generate Teaching Hub, there are also several other local providers within Halton, Warrington and Wigan. As a Teaching School Hub, our role is to support the collaboration between local providers of teacher development.

Local Choice

As part of this, we facilitate a peer network for these providers. This is a termly forum that meets online and in person, to share good practice, sector news and provide practical support to local teacher training providers.

Membership is inclusive and seeks to find colleagues from Halton, Warrington or Wigan who would describe themselves as any of the following:

  • Staff from schools, trusts and agencies that provide teacher training.

  • Teachers or leaders who offer training or placements to trainees.

  • School or classroom based mentors.

  • School or trust leaders with a professional interest in teacher training.

If you would to know more or attend, email teachertraining@wpat.uk.
