05 Initial Teacher Training (ITT)

Initial Teacher Training applications are now open for 2025-26

Prospective trainees can explore routes into teaching and search for available courses via the Get into Teaching website: https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk.

We are pleased to offer school experience days for anyone wishing to spend a day or so in school before making applications. Please contact Linda Humphries at: lhumphries@wpat.uk to express an interest.

We work closely with local providers and hold termly networking and development meetings for schools involved in teacher training. These are held online from 4-5pm. Our next meeting is Thursday, 11th June 2026 and you are very welcome to attend.
