Recruitment for September 2026
Many local providers have now completed recruitment for September 2026 programmes, while others continue to offer information events and maintain waiting lists or expressions of interest for future cohorts. Schools are encouraged to continue promoting teaching as a career and signpost prospective applicants to local providers to help sustain a strong pipeline of future teachers.
Local provider collaboration
Our area benefits from a diverse range of school-based ITT providers offering primary, secondary, SEND and apprenticeship routes. This collaborative approach ensures prospective trainees can access a range of high-quality pathways while remaining within the local area. Schools interested in hosting trainees, developing mentoring capacity or becoming more involved in teacher training are encouraged to engage with the local ITT provider network.
