02 Early Career Teacher Entitlement & ECF

Huge congratulations to those ECTs who have now completed their ECF training!  Balancing training, development and the responsibilities of being a teacher is not easy and you’ve done it!  We look forward to working with you in the future as you embark on the next stage of your career. 
 
Mentors who have completed their ECF or ECTP training also deserve a special ‘well done’!  The impact that you have on your ECTs cannot be underestimated. We hear so many examples of where mentors go ‘the extra mile’ to nurture, support and develop the ECTs that they work with.  It is very much appreciated! 
 
ECTs who are moving into Year 2 of the ECTP in September will shortly be receiving information about next year’s programme.  Year 2 of the ECTP is subject/phase specific which means that your training will be closely linked to the setting/department that you work in.  You will also get the opportunity to work with ECTs from across our areas of Halton, Warrington and Wigan giving you the opportunity to connect and learn from each other.
