Excellence in Reception Teaching 
Early this year, the DfE announced an expansion of the ‘golden thread of CPD’ with the introduction of National Professional Development programmes (NPD).  Excellence in Reception Teaching  is the first of these to be launched and applications for this programme opened on 6th July.  Places are extremely limited for this first Autumn Cohort and as they are fully funded for all schools, demand is expected to be high.  Find out more NPD - Excellence in Reception Teaching - Generate Teaching Hub  and apply here Check funding eligibility and register - NPD - GOV.UK 
 
National Year of Reading 
The National Year of Reading continues into the Autumn Term and it’s still not too lates register for free CPD webinars and resources, events for children and young people and rewards and prizes for participation. 
 
The free platform is flexible and easy to use, with content shaped to support your school or setting, meaning you can pick and choose activities that suit your school’s needs.
