English Hubs
Evidence based resources, training and specialist support
The aim of English Hubs is to promote high-quality phonics teaching and to support schools in teaching children to read, in order to achieve excellence in early literacy teaching.
The first step in seeking support is to attend a Showcase where you will see best practice in the teaching of early language and reading through the teaching of systematic synthetic phonics. Hubs can also help you develop an action plan for improving the teaching of early language, phonics and early reading.
Literacy Specialists from the Hub may also be able to carry out an audit of your provision as well as offer funding for the purchase of phonics books and resources.
